DUPONT'S OPTIONAL/VOLUNTARY PENSION The Following Chart Illustrates The Percentage Factors For Optional/Voluntary Pension
* The Factors Shown For Ages 45-49 Optional Pensions Are Applicable Only To Employees Who Would Otherwise Be Terminated For Lack Of Work.
How To Calculate Your Optional/Voluntary Pension Percentage 1. Locate your age along the side of the chart. 2. Then locate your years of service (at the time of retirement) located at the top of the chart. 3. The block where these points intersect will be your pension percentage. Please note that the Optional pension amount is the first figure and the Voluntary pension amount is the second figure, (I.E. 60/50). Example #1 You are 52 years old with 25 years of service. You choose to voluntarily retire. You would receive 60 percent of your full pension. Example #2 You are 52 years old with 25 years service and are faced with termination for lack of work. You would receive 70 percent of your full pension.
